Our new Baby!

We have been wanting for some time to get either a cat or a dog. Since I was informed by Kevin that we will not get another cat in this house we went with a dog. I have been looking online for some time now and found this darling little PUG. Lauren had received a lot of money for her birthday and said she wanted to pay for half the dog. Soooooooo I loaded up the kids and we went to go look at the puppy. Of course we had to get him. So meet our new member of the family Max. The puppy is the sweetest thing. He is so much fun. Lauren has been very responsible and takes the dog out to go to the bathroom. Cleans up after him and of course lugs him around every where we go. He is such much fun and he is great with the kids. The cat has even learned to tolerate him.

How can you not just love him?!

Lauren turns 7

My baby turned 7 in July. Where has the time gone? Lauren had her friends and cousins come over to our house and play water games. Our neighbor had a bouncy house that they brought over for the party as well. So we had slip n slide, water balloons, a fishing pond (which was the hit of the party) and some beautiful cupcakes!!!

Lauren loves her friends and cousins. She is little miss social butterfly. Lauren has such a beautiful smile and always wants to give hugs. It's hard at times to remember that she is only 7 because she acts like she is 18. She is the sweetest girl when she wants to be. I am so proud of her and all the she has over come in just her little 7 years of life. She is such a strong girl and yet so caring of everyone and their needs. I'm grateful that she is apart of our family and we love her so much!!

Happy Birthday little L!

Brianhead

We went to the cabin and had the best time. It was so beautiful up there. It was nice and cool and the flowers were beautiful. Lauren and I LOVED the Yellow flowers. They were so pretty. The kids had fun on the 4 wheelers, taking wheel barrow rides, and just playing with their cousins. I love going up there because there are so many memories we made when we were younger. Of course it wouldn't be the cabin without card games and Yes my Grandma and I beat Chad and Melisa the Hand and foot superstars! Whahoo way to go us :) I'm so grateful to my Grandpa and dad for all the time they put into that cabin. We have braved the cold, the outhouse, no running water. But it has all been worth it. Thanks Grandma for making a place where family can come together and play. I love you.

Kate could live on this 4wheeler!

I just love this girl!! She is so sweet and you just want to smile with her
