DISNEYLAND

We got to go and spend 3 days in Disneyland. What couldn't be better then being at the happiest place on earth? Well I managed to find a way to disrupt the happiness. While waiting in line.. the very long long lines. I started to feel like I was having a little heart burn. As we stood there longer the pain started to wrap around my back and down the back of my arms. We managed to get on the ride and I did not feel well. Half way through the ride it had a malfunction and they had to stop it. Thank goodness because this pain is now all over my rib cage. It felt like I was being squeezed to death. I started getting really hot and felt like passing out. I told Angie I had to get off and go sit down. She stayed with the kids so they could finish out the ride. I went outside and found the first place to sit down which was yes right on the ground. I called Kevin so that I was at least talking to someone if I passed out. The pain continued and was so intense to even take a breath. Angie got off the ride and said maybe we should go to first aid station. I got up and tried to walk there, bad idea. It made it even worse. I could barley stand and could not catch my breath. Angie found a security guy and the next thing I know I have oxygen on me and they are radioing for an ambulance for a 33 year old female with chest pains. Hello I'm 33!!! I should not be having chest pains. I was taken to the near by hospital where they rushed in and did an EKG and thankfully my heart was perfectly fine. That is great news but someone needs to stop this pain! After talking with the doctor they have determined that I have what is called Costochondrits. It is a condition due to an inflammation of the cartilage joining the ribs to the breast bone. It is not caused by heart or lung problems. However the exact cause for it is unknown but they believe it has to do with emotional stress. The doctor also told me it can be extremely painful and she has seen grown men in here with it crying. So there you have it... I have stress imagine that. (I will checking all that out with good ole Dr. Daynes in a few days )After a couple of hours and a shot of morfin later I called Angie to come and get me. So grateful for her to take care of the kids. All I could think about was we were suppose to be at Disneyland having fun. That night it still was very very painful and after a couple of Tylenol and Angie giving my poor back a good rub I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning completely fine. The swelling had gone down and I was back to normal. So off to Disneyland we went again in hopes of getting in all the rides which we did. The kids had a great time and it was so much fun to spend the time with Angie, Riley and Nick. Thanks again Angie for driving up to be with us. We love and miss you!

Emma Cheer Nationals

So we packed our bags... and were there a lot of bags, and headed of to California for Cheer Nationals. Emma's team did so good! They competed Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately one of the little girls accidentally did a backhand spring in her tumbling pass and we got docketed 11 points so we ended up with 2nd place. I am so proud of Emma and all her hard hard work she has done all year. Way to go Emma!
